ATG Gun

Every scrapbooker/crafter should have one of these! And, of course, make it your own by adding a little BLING! I mean, why not?

Top Ten Reasons Why I *HEART* My ATG Gun:

  1. It's large enough that it doesn't get lost under all my crap--I mean--works of art.
  2. It actually holds enough adhesive to get through even one of MY projects.
  3. Using it burns calories (the kind of exercise I like!).
  4. Supplies are less expensive by the yard than other adhesives which means I can buy more crap--I mean--needed supplies.
  5. It scares Scrapmonsters away.
  6. It's easy enough for even ME to load.
  7. It can't be mistaken for eye-drops like glue bottles can. Ouch! (Urban Legend? You decide.)
  8. The bigger the gun the more BLING!
  9. It gets me into the only 'sticky' situation I want to be in.
  10. It makes all my non-ATG friends jealous!! :)

There are lots of great YouTube videos that show you how to alter your ATG. Here's one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_HFg4iC57c&feature=fvst

I purchased my ATG Gun from FramingSupplies.com. There are a few models to choose from. I purchased the 714 that only holds the 1/4" tape (no adapters to mess with!): http://www.framingsupplies.com/3M/TapeDispenserGuns.htm

You can get supplies from FramingSupplies.com or where 3M products are sold . I use the Acid Free 3M 908 GOLD 1/4"x 36 yds.: http://www.framingsupplies.com/3M/3MATGTape.htm
If you choose another style of gun, be sure the tape fits your gun.

Apples of Gold Folder

My pastor's wife asked me to decorate folders for a women's minstry group doing the "Apples of Gold" book series. I had to mass produce 50 of these so I wanted to keep it simple. My friend Amber helped me assemble the pieces and we used LOTS of spray adhesive! I printed the title plate insert on velum which gave it a more elegant look. I used the Cricut Heritage cartridge for the tree, fence and title plate. I used a small thumb punch for the gold foil apples. The gypsy was a life saver for this project!

Green Tree Parts: width 8"
Brown Tree Parts: width 7"
Front and Back Title Plate: width 10 1/2"
Fence: height 3"

Heaven Sent

This is a tag I submitted for a "Baby Girl" tag swap over at Cricut.com. What fun! I used glitter paper for the wings (Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge) and kraft paper for the tag base. I used my color ink printer for the title. I made 10 of these and didn't keep one for myself....crazy!

Watch Me Grow Layout

Here's a layout I did for a friend's scrapbook that was becoming a new grandma (Congrats Brenda!!). I used Plantin Schoolbook for the font, Freshly Picked and Hello Kitty Greetings for the images. Background paper is by Making Memories and Bazzill cardstock was used. I use the Signo White Gel Pen for accent stitching.

Storage Tags

These are tags I made to tie onto the storage cubes I keep in the top of our coat closet to organize our winter accessories. I used a Sizzix tag die, Everyday Paperdolls cartridge, egg thumb punch (for earmuffs) and Bazzill cardstock. To make them last a little longer, I laminated them.
